Send a few photos. I'll tell you what they're worth and make an offer the same day. We meet in a public place, you get paid on the spot, and you can walk away at any point.
*Same cash offer either way - text if you're looking to sell your pokemon cards today.

Text or upload them. Binder pages or a table shot first. I'll ask for close-ups only of the cards that matter.
I check each card by hand against TCGplayer market prices and recent eBay sales, then text you an offer with the reasoning. No bots, no "bring it in and we'll see."
We meet at a public place — usually a study room at UF Library West — I confirm condition in front of you, and you're paid on the spot. Don't like the final number? Keep your cards. No hard feelings.
For most cards I use TCGplayer's market price for that exact condition. For older or unusual cards where TCGplayer's data is thin, I use recent eBay sold listings — what people actually paid.
For most collections that's 60–80% of market. Graded cards and high-demand cards get more because they sell fast. Low-value or slow-moving cards get less because they can sit for months.
I tell you which cards drove the number and what I compared them to, so you can check me.
What can change the offer after we meet: only condition — scratches, edge whitening, creases, or a card that's a different version than it looked in the photo. I'll point at exactly what changed. If nothing's different, the number stands. And you're never obligated to sell.
If a card is worth more graded than sold raw, I'll tell you. I've talked sellers out of selling before.
"Very transparent about the market value of my cards and how he calculates his offer. He even advised me to keep and grade a couple rather than sell on the spot."
Andrew K., Gainesville seller
Always a public place. Never your home, never mine.
Usually a reserved study room at UF Library West — quiet, well lit, and I can check the cards in front of you.
A public spot in Ocala, Lake City, Starke, Chiefland, or Keystone Heights.
Whatever's easiest for you. I confirm the exact spot and time by text.
Bring a friend if you like. You're never obligated to sell.

Andrew K., Gainesville sellerRight here. Send photos, get an offer by text, meet in a public place. If you're in Ocala, Lake City, Starke, Chiefland, or Keystone Heights, we can meet in your town or halfway.
I do — Sam, a local collector, not a shop. You deal with me from the first text to the cash.
No. Send photos and I'll tell you which cards carry the value and why. That's free, even if you decide to keep them.
Usually not. Thousands of commons with no holos or rares don't have a market. But a "bulk" pile often has a few good cards in it. Send a photo and I'll tell you if it's worth a trip.
Often the same day. I usually send an offer within a few hours of getting photos. If our schedules line up, you can have the money tonight.
We always meet in a public place, never at a home. Bring a friend if you want. You're never obligated to sell.
Yes. PSA, CGC, and BGS slabs, and sealed boxes, ETBs, and tins get my strongest offers.
Only if a card's condition is different from the photos. I'll show you exactly what changed. If nothing's different, the number stands.
Yes! I sell at card shows around North Central Florida. You can also check out my inventory at shop.sellpokemonnow.com
Hi, I'm Sam. I'm not a big corporation. I'm a collector who also sells cards online and at shows. I've sold so many cards that it really has taught me quite a bit about the market and which cards are in demand, which is one reason I'm able to make competitive offers!
I grew up loving Pokémon. I got back into the hobby as an adult for both the nostalgia and because of how cool the new art is.
While I'll buy most Pokémon cards, I have a particular soft spot for my childhood favorites like Jirachi, Absol, and Xerneas. In terms of my personal collection, I've recently begun mastersetting Black and White Secret Rares!
But like I said, because I know the market and the cards, I can offer significantly more than card shops that don't specialize in Pokémon.
So if you're looking to sell Pokémon cards in Gainesville, I'm your guy.
